Warm Water and Gentle Scrubbing: Start by wiping the windshield with warm water several times, followed by gentle scrubbing with your hand. This helps to remove most of the grime.
Newspaper Method: Alternatively, you can use a piece of newspaper to carefully scrub the stubborn dirt. The ink in newspapers can help break down and remove grime without scratching the glass.
Rinse and Test:
After cleaning, rinse the windshield thoroughly with water. Once done, the glass should feel smooth again. Activate the wipers to test their effectiveness. They should now clean very efficiently.
When to Replace Wiper Blades:
If, after cleaning, the windshield still feels smooth and the wipers are not working effectively, it might be time to replace the wiper blades. Regular maintenance and timely replacement of wiper blades are crucial for maintaining clear visibility and safe driving conditions.
